| COMMANDERS HQ August 2009 Dear Comrades: Here we are "Touching, Tomorrow, Together and we, with all your help will make it one our best years, We have a good group of officers and the best Ladies Auxiliary in the District. With everyone's help we will get all of the events and things we have to do to fulfill out Veterans of Foreign Wars obligations. To our veterans, Ours schools and our community around us. We are planning for bar b q some time in September and are planning our annual "Fish Fry" for the November 11th celebration. We have many projects the Post is planning. To repair our big neon sign out front and to paint the flag pole to the top - also out two bingo signs. Lee Hillman and his wife are doing a great job keeping our bingo hall operating. Our service manager Steve Baker is working hard on keeping our hall rentals and usage in good order. We still have our adapted National Guard Unit which will probably be deployed to Afghanistan in the coming months. Your post helps them in any manner that we can.
